WINNERS introduces the game of lacrosse to underserved inner-city youth in Washington, DC, by combining the discipline and teamwork of the sport with mentoring to create academic opportunities for our players. Our team members compete in regional games and tournaments, shadow lacrosse playing students at local schools, and attend summer camps throughout the East Coast. Further, we seek secondary school placement for graduating eighth graders so they can continue to develop their academic potential using lacrosse as a vehicle for advancement through high school and into college. "Helping to create WINNERS on and off the field" is our motto, and we hope that you can join us in celebrating the success in the lives of our youth by teaching more than just the game of lacrosse.
For more information on WINNERS Lacrosse, please visit www.winnerslacrosse.org.

"Multiple sclerosis is a progressive neurological disease that affects people in many different ways. It could be paralysis one day, loss of vision the next or impaired memory the day after that. Living with MS means living with uncertainty.
When it comes to MS, only two things are certain:
· Another American is newly diagnosed with MS every hour of every day"
